"Save your time and book somewhere else"
I stayed here for one night the room felt really bare. There was no fridge, no hairdryer in the room, and barely any tea-making stuff provided. The bed was okay, but for what we paid, the amenities just weren’t enough. Save your time and look for a place that offers a bit more for the money

"Booking Was Way More Annoying Than It Should’ve Been"
I tried to book a room on the site but it kept freezing and then randomly sending me back to the previous page, and at one point the dates even changed on their own which was super frustrating because I had to keep fixing everything, so after about 20 minutes of dealing with it I just gave up.
"Not Worth the Stop"
I was already feeling mentally drained and just wanted something simple to eat, but this didn’t help at all. The toast came out cold, the coffee was weak, and the whole thing just felt disappointing. I wouldn’t bother going back

"Decent room, but the parking situation was frustrating"
Am I the only one who expects parking to actually be available when a hotel says they have it? The room itself was fine, nothing amazing but totally okay. But after a long drive, we got there and the lot was full, so we had to pay extra to park nearby. Not really what I was hoping to deal with at that point

"This place was much farther from the station…"
This place was much farther from the station than I expected. I figured it would be an easy trip, but I ended up needing taxis, and they cost way more than planned. What a joke. Definitely something to keep in mind before booking.
"Bathroom really put me off"
I only stayed for one night, so I can’t say if this is typical or if I just got unlucky, but the bathroom in my room was grim. There was hair in the shower, the sink looked dirty, and the toilet had a bad smell. Maybe other rooms are better, but based on my stay, I wouldn’t go back.

"Misleading wording, barely worked"
The way this was worded made it sound like getting online would be simple and reliable, but that was not my experience at all. I could barely get connected even once, and when I did, it was more frustrating than useful. Disappointing.

"For some reason, it just felt like..."
For some reason, it just felt like dogs weren't really welcome here. We brought ours along and the vibe was a bit uncomfortable, so I probably wouldn't recommend it if you're visiting with a dog
"Really frustrating stay"
This was such a frustrating experience. We had a wheelchair-accessible room, but it was placed so far away that getting there was a hassle every single time. Then the lift wasn’t working, which made everything even worse. You’d think the staff would at least try to help or offer some kind of solution, but nope, they were no help at all. Really disappointing.

I stayed here for one night and the room was clean enough, so no big issue there. But the heat was cranked way too high and opening the window barely did anything. The fan was noisy too, which didn’t help. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just didn’t sleep that great.

"Room Didn’t Feel Properly Cleaned"
I stayed here for one night and the room just didn’t feel like it had been cleaned properly. There was dust on the desk, little bits on the carpet, and the bathroom had marks around the sink. The bed was okay, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the whole place had that rushed-cleaning feel. The staff were polite enough, and my booking email and receipt all came through fine, but for the price I really expected the room to be cleaner. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to stay again.

"Okay room, but the communication was frustrating"
I stayed here for one night and the room itself was fine, nothing amazing but totally okay. The main issue was the staff didn’t come across as very welcoming. Check-in felt rushed, and when I had a question, it felt like I was annoying them just by asking. I also found the communication a bit unclear, which made things more frustrating than they needed to be. It wasn’t the worst stay or anything, but a little more friendliness and clearer answers would’ve made a big difference...

"Nobody ever gets back to you!!!"
I tried getting in touch with Travelodge about an issue with my booking, and honestly... what a hassle!!! The reply I got was just a generic form response, took days to arrive, and didn’t actually answer my question at all?? There’s no real phone support, no proper follow-up, nothing. It felt like they were just hoping I’d give up and go away. Really, really poor customer service!!!

"Terrible Shower Experience"
Not gonna lie, the shower was really awful. I only stayed one night, but the water kept switching from hot to cold every few seconds, and the pressure was basically nonexistent. It felt like trying to wash under a dripping tap. I mentioned it to reception, but nothing was done about it. Even for a cheap hotel, I expected better.

"Felt a bit misled by the experience"
I felt a little misled by what was offered. The food choices were limited, the drinks were way more expensive than I expected, and breakfast was really basic. It just didn’t feel like it lived up to what I thought I was getting.

"Cold food again"
I don’t know, I really wanted to give the bar cafe another chance, but the food came out cold again. It’s kind of frustrating because the place itself is fine and I keep hoping it’ll be better, but when you’re sitting there ready to eat and the meal just isn’t warm, it takes the enjoyment out of it.

"Pretty much what I expected, but they did make it right"
I had a rough stay with a noisy night and a room that didn’t feel especially clean, so I ended up complaining afterward. To be fair, customer service did get back to me and offered a small refund, which I appreciated. But it took a few emails and almost two weeks to sort out, which kind of confirmed what I already suspected about hotel complaints being a bit of a hassle. Not an awful experience overall, just slower than it needed to be and I definitely felt like I had to keep chasing them.

"Save your time and book elsewhere"
They cancelled my booking, and getting the refund sorted took way too long. I had to chase them twice, and even then the replies were confusing and not very helpful. save your time and avoid the hassle, I won’t be booking with them again.

"Way too cramped??"
I could barely move around in there. It felt really cramped the whole time, and I kept wondering how anyone was supposed to get comfortable?? Not the best experience
